Introduction
I have deigned projects throughout Southern California and beyond with the largest concentration in the South Bay and Palos Verdes. My focus has been on residential design with projects ranging from multi-family and tract housing to high-end custom homes. Commercial projects, including retail, restaurant, recreation/fitness and hospitality have always been part of the practice.
Design Philosophy
I produce practical designs that maximize value and utility without sacrificing aesthetics. I am a firm believer that all good projects start with a logical floor plan and an efficient site plan. I do not rely on any single aesthetic, rather the client's objectives and desires along with the project's surroundings are the key influence on all designs.
Services
My clients include developers and builders building for-sale products as well as residentail and commercial property owners building for their own use. Services are tailored to the individual project and client and can include full service from design through construction.
ABOUT
I am a lifelong resident of the South Bay. After graduating from Miraleste High School in 1977 I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1982. Upon obtaining my architect's license in 1985 I began my Torrance based practice, first in collaboration with JCC Homes, a major home builder in California, and more recently as a sole practitioner.
I have been an avid boater all of my life. When I am not designing buildings, I can be found cruising and racing my 32-Ft sailboat to Catalina and up and down the Southern California Coast.
